任秀云，女，医学博士，教授，主任医师，博士生导师，2008年毕业于北京大学口腔医学院，获得牙周病学博士学位，现任山西医科大学口腔医（学）院党委书记。

主要兼职：中华口腔医学会牙周病学专委会常委，中华口腔医学会教育专委会委员，山西省口腔医学会牙周病学专委会主任委员，山西省口腔医学会常务副会长，山西省口腔医师协会常务副会长。《口腔生物医学》、《现代口腔医学杂志》和《中国实用口腔科杂志》《Chinese Journal of Dental Research》编委。

研究方向及特长：牙周病与全身健康的关系。

主要成果及贡献：第一负责人主持国家自然科学基金项目2项，省级项目5项，在国内外权威专业期刊杂志发表论文30余篇（第一及通讯作者），被SCI收录5篇，拥有实用新型专利1项，省级科技进步奖二等奖1项。

教学奖励：获山西省高等学校青年教师教学基本功竞赛二等奖，记二等功一次，学校青年教师教学基本功竞赛一等奖及优秀教案奖，中青年教学能手称号，多次获得学校“三育人”先进个人。不仅自己以身作则重视教学工作，也大胆管理教学工作，在主管教学工作期间，亲力亲为成功组织申报4门省级（3门校级）精品资源共享课程。视频课件被选入2013年中华口腔医学会优秀教师视频，在中华口腔医学会网上展示。
