申请资格

1、年龄原则上要求在18周岁到25周岁之间，身体健康，高中毕业以上学历，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。根据中国教育部规定，对于中国大陆(内地)、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民外国后作为外国留学生申请者，应于2017年4月30日之前持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件，并拥有已注销中国国籍的证明，且2017年4月30日起至报名截止日有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录(一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算)。

2、成绩要求：面向全球招生，提供SAT(Scholastic Assessment Test)、A-Level,雅思(IELTS)、托福(TOEFL IBT)考试成绩的申请者优先考虑录取。申请者必须同时提供高中成绩单。

• 有GCE A-Level成绩的申请者，请提供A-Level成绩单，申请者的GCE A-Level所考科目的成绩须在等级C或以上；

• 申请者若提供高中所学课程的GPA,GPA须在3.0或以上；或考试所有科目的总成绩/考试所有科目的满分之和，所得百分比在75%或以上。

• 以上成绩要求中所指课程主要是物理学、化学、生物学和英语的成绩，并且是对申请者成绩的基本要求。我校将根据申请者的SAT、IELTS、T  OEFLIBT、GCEA-level成绩和高中成绩的综合表现，择优录取。

Eligibility

1.In principle, Foreign citizens who are between the ages of 18 and 25,in good physical and mental health,and awardedacertificate ofgraduation fromhigh school.AccordingtotheDocumentNo.83 (2009)ofMinistry of Education of the PRC, For Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents whohave given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, they should have a validforeign passport or nationality certificate by April 30,2017 and have certificates which are written offChinese nationality. Besides, from April 30th, 2017 to the closing date of registration, there are records ofactual living abroad for more than 2 years (Living inforeign countries for9 months will be calculatedinone year).

2.AcademicPerfommance Requirements

SXMI recruitstudents from all over the world. For those who want to enroll in the SXMU, applicantswho have SAT(Scholastic Assessment Test), A-Level, IELTS, TOEFL scores will be given priority.Applicants must providehigh schooltranscriptsatthesame time.

• Applicants with GCEA-Level scores are required to provideA-Level transcripts. Applicants' GCEA-Levelsubjects must meetgrades Cor above.

• If the applicant provides a GPA for a high school course, the GPA must be 3.0 or above, or the totalscores of allsubjects in the testdivided by the full scoresofall subjects inthe testneeds to be 75% or above.

• The courses referred to in the above grade requirements are mainly physics, chemistry,biology.andEnglish,and are basicrequirements for applicants'grades.SXMU will select applicants according totheircomprehensive performance ofSAT,IELTS,TOEFLIBT,GCEA-evelan dgra desin highschool!

• 无犯罪记录证明：

• 经济担保(符合当地中国使领馆签证要求的银行存单、或父母在职收入情况证明、银行流水等):

• 外国人体格检查记录；

1、申请人登录申请系统：https://smu.at0086.cn/Student, 在线注册账户，按照系统要求提交申请材料，正确录入本人护照信息、联络方式和邮寄地址等重要信息。

2、学校根据申请材料等综合评核，择优选拔，确定录取名单，待被录取者缴纳学费后，邮寄录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》。
