Step Through 5,000 Years of History, Feel the Pulse of Chinese Culture!

This program uses Shanxi as a gateway to immerse international youth in China’s rich heritage. Through expertalks, hands-on workshops, and cultural adventures, participants will unlock the secrets of Chinese civilization in a dynamic 7-day exploration.

l Taste of Shanxi: Master noodle-making and feast on local delicacies like kaolaolao.

4. Eligibility:

l Possess a valid passport with a clear criminal record.

l Teenagers aged 18–28 and Young Professors aged 18–35

l Have a strong interest in Chinese culture, particularly Shanxi merchant culture.

l In good physical and mental health, capable of meeting the schedule and activity demands of the program.

l Commit to abide by all program regulations and respect Chinese cultural norms, customs, and legal requirements.

5. Fees:

l Please purchase insurance prior to entering China.

l The university will cover accommodation, meals, and attraction entrance fees, excluding international travel expenses.

6. How to apply：

l Step1: Register on the SXMU international student application portal https://smu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx, create your account and log in.

l Step 2: Select "2025 SXMU International Summer School ".

l Step 3: Upload the required documents and submit your application.

l Step 4: Await the admission notice via email and confirm your acceptance.
