On the afternoon of January 28, also known as the "Minor New Year", the Spring Festival Party for international student was held in Zhongdu Campus.Vice President Wang Hongwei attended the party and gave new year greetings. The party was joined by leaders and teachers from Department of Student Affairs,International Cooperation and Exchange Office and School of International Educationand international students.

In the speech, President Wang said, the Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals for Chinese,with the meanings of "family reunion", "ringing out the old year and ringing in the new year" and "all things returning to the spring". He encouragedall international students to summarize the past and to make plans about the future. In addition, President Wang also hoped students to overcome difficulties in their studies and to keep trying for their dreams.

In the party, international students gave impressive performances such as poetry recitations (New Year' s Day,Tai Chi),song (Meteors), short play (Dreams Coming True in SXMU) and ebullient folk dances. Teachers attending the activity selected lucky audiences and gave them mementos.

Finally, the Spring Festival Party successfully ended in the chorus of the students,Heal the World.
