With advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, China's image as a great power has won the attention of the world. In order to tell good Chinese stories and spread good Chinese voice, our International Education School organized foreign students to actively participate in "My Chinese Story" essay competition from March to August.

A total of 20 outstanding works were selected for the competition. Among them, PUNEET SHARMA, an India student of 2018, won the third prize; GONTLE RHUMBIE PUSOETSILE, a Botswana student of 2017, and USMAN SARIM, a Pakistani student, won the excellent prize. Students generally thought that by participating in this essay competition, they understood China better and their ability of language and social skills were improved. As a result, they determined to continually participate in such activities in the future.

It is reported that  "My China Story" essay competition was jointly sponsored by the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, International Talent Magazine, and Apocalypse Academic Assessment Research Institute. Since its launch in November 2018, it has attracted expatriates from 37 countries to participate. From 1064 works received, the committee selected 3 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 20 third prizes and 30 excellent prizes. The list of winners was announced in the 5th issue of 2020 International Talent Magazine.
