Recently, the Chinese Universities Alumni website (cuaa.net) announced the 2020 Chinese University Evaluation Research Report—Guide for Volunteer Reports for College Entrance Examinations". This report includes Alumni Association's 2020 Top 1200 Chinese Universities Rankings, 2020 China's "Dual-Class" University Rankings, China's Best University Rankings and 2020 China's Best University Rankings according to categories.

Our university ranks 195th in the national university rankings, with an up-gradation of 59 ranks compared to 2019. With 2 ranks advancement from 2019, itranks 3rd in the Shanxi Province universities. Among national medical university rankings, it stands on the twentieth position, improving by one rank compared to 2019. This is the manifestation of our school's efforts to improve teaching contents, continuously improving the rank of our school and the overall progress towards the “two hundred ranks" improvement goal.

It is reported that the 2020 China University Rankings Evaluation Index System consisted of education and teaching quality (accounting for 32.00%), high-level talents (accounting for 13.00%), major disciplines (accounting for 9.00%), and high-end scientific research results (accounting for 21.00 %), Scientific research projects (accounting for 5.00%), scientific research bases (accounting for 5.00%), school level (accounting for 5.00%), societal reputation (accounting for 6.00%), and international influence (accounting for 4.00%). With more than 400 evaluation indicators, it is the university ranking with the largest number of evaluation factors among Chinese universities. These indicators have clear directions and criteria, which can clearly and intuitively reflect the comprehensive strength of universities.
