Recently, the English version of Pharmacology has been successfully released in"Xuetang Online", the online teaching international platform authorized by the Ministry of Education. It is the first international MOOCS course of our university and open free to the learners all over the world. Pharmacology, managed by professor Yan Wang from the Department of Basic Medicine, is supported by the Quality Course Construction Project of Shanxi Medical University in 2020. Pharmacology studies the interaction between medicines and the body, the mechanism of drug action, and provides basic data and scientific supportsfor the rational use of medicines in clinical disciplines. It is a bridge course connecting basic medicine and clinical medicine. In the process of curriculum design, the teaching team re-build the professional knowledge according to their long-term education experience and the examination syllabus. The team also provides the corresponding curriculum resources, such as course introduction, presentation, chapter assignment and other basic teaching activities resources. All of these guarantee the learning efficiency. In the follow-up, the teaching team will continue to improve the course quality and expand the coverage.
