Recently, the Chinese Society of Higher Education announced the list of Chinese member universities of "China-Africa University Alliance" and "China-Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Program"and our university was successfully selected.

The "China-Africa University Alliance" exchange mechanism is a platform for the implementation of the "China-Africa Talent Cultivation Cooperation Program" proposed by President Xi Jinping at the China-Africa Leaders' Dialogue in Johannesburg. Under the guidance of the International Department of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Society of Higher Education and the Association of African Universities have jointly established the exchange mechanism of "China-Africa University Alliance", and launched the "China-Africa Universities Cooperation Program of 100 Colleges and Universities", so as to deepen the exchanges and cooperation between universities in China and Africa and enhance the understanding and recognition of the students of different countries on the building of a community of destiny. The "China-Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Program" is a program launched to implement the "Joint Action on Youth Success", one of the "Eight Joint Actions" for China-Arab practical cooperation proposed by President Xi Jinping at the first China-Arab Summit. In recent years, our university has actively taken the initiative to support the national strategy of opening up to the outside world, and is committed to the medical education cooperation between China and Africa. Since 1981, when Shanxi sent medical teams to Djibouti, and in 1975 Shanxi sent medical teams to Cameroon , our university has hosted many French language training courses for medical teams and actively participated in medical work to support Africa. More than 300 outstanding graduates volunteered to go to Cameroon, Togo, and Djibouti, and have won the honor of the recipient countries many times. The university will continue to actively play the role of a bridge between Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges, deepen and expand educational exchanges and cooperation with colleges and universities in Africa and Arab countries, deeply promote the internationalization strategy of open integration and enhance the level of internationalization.
