On February 11, the 30th lunar month, International Education College held a cultural experience activity on the Zhongdu campus to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival. 65 international students and college teachers attended, pasted Spring Festival couplets and wrote “Fu” to welcome the Chinese New Year.

Rong Na, the teacher from the International Education College, first introduced the Chinese Spring Festival customs and traditions to the international students. Then they wrote the couplets together, where "colorful", "auspicious" and " soaring" wishes with immature but unique handwriting appeared on papers. The students excitedly pasted the couplets written by themselves at the door of the apartment. The atmosphere of the event was warm and full of joy.

Shi Na, an international student from Pakistan, said, “I have been in China for three years and I really feel the indescribable charm of Chinese culture. The Spring Festival couplets I wrote are posted at the door of my apartment, making me feel 'back home', and I will share it with my family and friends."

During the holiday, there are still 65 international students from 13 countries on campus. All of students actively cooperate with the school management. Every day teachers ask about their study and life, and are ready to help. In addition, the school also carried out some activities, and issued red envelopes for the Spring Festival.

Spring festival activities enrich students' holiday life, enhance their "sense of experience" of Chinese culture, and help to cultivate students' love for China and school. The students also took the opportunity to express their wishes for the Spring Festival, hoping that the pandemic will end as soon as possible, blessing China's and school's prosperity, wishing teachers and students good health, all the best and the year of the ox!
