In accordance with the requirements of superior departments and the university, the college has taken all kinds of measures to ensure the health and safety of international students. We appreciate your support and cooperation during this period. Regarding the current and future teaching requirements of international students, we summarize some common problems as follows:

Q：我们什么时候开学？

A：由于受到疫情影响我们推迟了返校开学时间，具体时间需要根据疫情情况作出实时判断，学校会在开学日期前两周通知大家。

Q: When do we start?

A: Due to the impact of the epidemic, we have postponed the school start time. The specific time needs to be determined in real time according to the epidemic situation. The school will notify you two weeks before the school start date.

Q：我们新学期如何学习？

A：本学期所有理论课程全部采用线上教学，实验课待返校后再组织进行。

Q：How will we study in the new semester?

A: All theoretical courses in this semester are taught online. The experimental classes will be organized after returning to school.

Q：我们怎么在网上学习？

A：首先，要下载最重要的手机端学习软件“学习通”app，也可以在学校官网用电脑端学习【山西医科大学网络教学平台】http://sxmu.fanya.chaoxing.com/portal。在这个软件平台，老师已经为大家搭建好课程，上传了课程视频、学习资料以及作业活动。此外，大家要及时听课、查看通知并完成作业，因为老师在技术的支持下，可以在后台看到你们所有的学习状态，包括：何时上线学习、学习进度如何、是否迟到早退、是否完成作业等等。可以说，这比在教室里学习要求更严格，因为大数据不会作弊！

Q: How do we study online?

A: First of all, you need to download the most important mobile phone learning software “superstar”app, or you can use the computer on the school ’s official website to learn 【Shanxi Medical University Network Teaching Platform（E- Platform）】 http://sxmu.fanya.chaoxing.com/portal.

In this software platform, the teacher has set up a course for everyone, uploading course videos, learning materials and homework activities. In addition, everyone must listen to the class in a timely manner, check the notifications, and complete the homework, because the teacher can see all your learning status in the background with technical support, including: when to go online to learn, how is the learning progress, whether late or early leave, whether to complete the assignment and many more. It can be said that this is more stringent than learning in the classroom, because big data does not cheat!

Q：我已经下载了超星“学习通”，为什么还要下载MOOC或者其他app？

A：手机端超星“学习通”app和电脑端【山西医科大学网络教学平台】（E-平台）是一回事，那些无法在手机上学习的同学可以登录电脑端学习。因为在“学习通”，一些老师会把别的网站和平台的资源借鉴过来供大家学习，因此，想要获得这些资源，就需要下载资源所在的APP，例如：中国大学MOOC。

Q: I have already downloaded “Super Star”, why should I download MOOC or other apps?

A: The“Superstar” app on the mobile phone and the computer 【Shanxi Medical University Network Teaching Platform】 (E-platform) are the SAME  thing. Those students who cannot learn on the mobile phone can log in to the computer to learn. Because in “Superstar” app，some teachers will borrow resources from other websites and platforms for everyone to learn. Therefore, in order to obtain these resources, you need to download the APP where the resources are located, for example: China University MOOC.

Q：我已经下载了很多app，一定要绑定吗？

A：因为受到疫情影响无法正常开学，目前很多学习平台和资源都在近期向用户免费开放。但是，必须在下载后完成注册和认证，确定你是山西医科大学正式在读的学生，才可以享受这些资源。因此，务必要完成认证。在认证过程中遇到问题的，先问同学，解决不了再问老师。

Q: I have downloaded many apps. Do I have to bind them?

A: Due to the impact of the epidemic, it is not possible to start school normally. At present, many learning platforms and resources are free for users in the near future. However, you MUST complete the registration and authentication after downloading to confirm that you are a formal student of Shanxi Medical University in order to enjoy these resources. Therefore, it is important to complete the certification. If you encounter problems during the certification process, ask your classmates first, and then ask the teacher if you can't solve them.

Q：我每天都需要做什么？

A：学院要求大家每天要查看班级微信群以及“学习通”平台每门课程的“通知”。听从老师以及班干部的通知：按时听课、及时提交作业等。班干部们在这一时期要做好带头作用，学习委员要做好老师和同学们之间的桥梁，及时收集汇总问题与老师取得联系，也可以在平台讨论区留言。班长也要每天及时督促大家完成指定任务。

Q: What do I need to do every day?

A: The school of International Education requires everyone to check the “Notifications” of each class in the class WeChat group and the  “Superstar” platform every day. Obey the notices of teachers and class leaders: listen to classes on time and submit assignments in time. Class leaders should take the lead in this period, and study leaders should be a bridge between teachers and classmates, collect and summarize problems in time to get in touch with teachers, or leave messages in the platform discussion area. The monitors must also promptly urge everyone to complete the assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Q：我现在在国外，我要按照什么时间听课？

A：我们建议大家根据课程表安排和进度进行线上学习。但是考虑到各方面问题，我们不强制大家在课程表规定的具体时间在线学习。但是每一门课程都有一个学习期限，大家需要在这个时间段内完成学习提交作业，过期则视为缺勤。也就是说，第一门课是在2月17日早上8点半开始，你可以在随后方便的时间及时登录学习平台进行学习。

Q: I'm abroad now. What time should I attend?

A: We recommend everyone to learn online according to the schedule. However, in view of various issues, we do NOT force everyone to study online at the specific time specified in the curriculum. However, each course has a study period, and everyone needs to complete the study submission work within this time period. Expiration is considered absent. That is to say, the first course starts at 8:30 am on February 17th, and you can log in to the learning platform to learn in a timely manner at a convenient time.

Q：我们的教材呢？

A：学院正在积极协调学校教务处，由于受到疫情影响，处于对在校学生安全问题的考虑，我们会合理发放教材。不在学校的同学，我们会在拿到纸质版教材后尽快把每门课程所需章节的电子版发放给大家。请大家耐心等待，我们正在积极联系。此外，我相信，没有教材，不是学不好的借口，特殊时期要用特殊的方式和心态对待学习。在没有教材的情况下也要尽量避免影响学习。

Q: What about our textbooks?

A: The SIE is actively coordinating the school's teaching affairs office. Due to the impact of the epidemic, we are considering the safety of school students, and we will reasonably distribute textbooks. Students who are not at school, we will distribute the electronic version of the required chapters of each course to everyone as soon as possible after receiving the hard copy. Please be patient and we are actively contacting. In addition, I believe that without textbooks, it is not an excuse for not learning well. In a special period, we must treat learning in a special way. Try to avoid affecting learning without textbooks.

Q：什么时候进行补考？

A：上学期补考将安排在恢复返校后的一个月内进行，请相关同学合理安排复习时间，做好准备。

Q: When will the make-up exam be held?

A: The make-up exam of last semester will be arranged within one month after returning to school. Related students please arrange the review time and make preparations.

Q：遇到问题怎么办？

A：老师们虽然没有在学校，但是没有一刻是休息的。大家遇到问题，首先要冷静处理，看看是不是自己没有及时看通知，其次，可以在同学朋友中寻求帮助，“人多力量大”，也许其他同学可以帮你解决这个小问题。如果学生们还是解决不了再把问题集中汇总给老师，一定要体谅老师工作，能自己解决的绝不麻烦老师，实在解决不了的也一定要及时提出来。此外，万老师只能通过联系平台方解决部分技术问题，具体课程问题，大家报告给学习委员，再联系具体任课老师。

Q: What should I do if I encounter a problem?

A: Although the teachers are not in school, they do not rest for a moment. If you encounter a problem, you must first calmly deal with it to see if you have not read the notice in a timely manner. Second, you can ask for help from classmates and friends. If the students still can't solve the problem and then put them together to the teacher, they must be considerate of the teacher's work. Who can solve the problem by himself /herself will never bother the teacher. In addition, Wan laoshi can only solve some technical problems by contacting the technical staffs. As for specific course problems, everyone reports it to the study leaders, and then contact the specific teacher.

最后要说的话：这场突如其来的没有硝烟的“战争”，我们每一个人都应该成为“战士”，这当然不是让你去冲锋陷阵，而是要明白，做好自己的事情就是对别人最大的帮助！你们最重要的事情就是学习！不要因为学习地点、时间、方式变了就消极懒散自欺欺人，学习永远是为自己。不要当我们重返教室的时候，你才后悔在这段时间里与别人相差了那么那么多……
