二、申请资格 Eligibility

1. 年龄在18-25 周岁，持有外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，以及从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾移民外国，作为来华留学生的申请者，必须持有效的外国护照或国际证明文件4年（含）以上，且有最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内在国外实际居住2年以上的记录。Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens aged between 18 and 25, holding valid foreign passports. Applicants whose both or one parent is a Chinese citizen residing abroad and who were born with foreign nationality, as well as those who have emigrated from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan to a foreign country, must hold valid foreign passports or international proof documents for at least 4 years (inclusive) and have a record of actually residing abroad for more than 2 years within the last 4 years (as of April 30th of the admission year).

2. 身心健康，达到办理来华学习签证或居留证件的体检标准。Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, meeting the physical examination standards for obtaining study visas or residence permits for coming to China.

3. 学术水平要求：高中毕业及以上学历；高中所学课程的GPA须在3.0或以上，或百分制成绩须在70%或以上。除总成绩外，主要参考数学、物理、化学、生物和英语科目成绩。

4. 语言能力要求：母语为非英语的申请者，须有雅思学术类（不低于6.0，各单项不低于5.5）、托福（IBT不低于80分，各单项不低于15分）或其他同等英语测试成绩证明。Academic Requirements: Applicants must have completed high school education or higher. The GPA for high school courses must be 3.0 or above, the GPA for high school courses must be 3.0 or above; alternatively, the percentage score out of 100 must be 70% or above. In addition to the overall score, special consideration will be given to scores in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and English.

5. 母语为英语或最高学历学习阶段全程授课语言为英语的申请者，可免英语测试成绩证明，但须提交毕业学校出具的英语授课证明。Language Proficiency Requirements: Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency with an IELTS Academic score of no less than 6.0 (with no individual band score below 5.5) or a TOEFL IBT score of no less than 80 (with no individual section score below 15). Applicants whose native language is English or whose entire highest degree program was taught in English are exempt from submitting English proficiency test scores but must provide a certificate of English-medium instruction issued by their graduation institution.

6. 勤奋好学，成绩良好，品行端正，遵纪守法，无违反校规校纪行为的记录，无治安处罚记录，无犯罪记录。Applicants must be diligent, academically excellent, possess good moral character, abide by laws and regulations, and have no record of violating school rules and regulations, no record of public security punishment, and no criminal record.

三、申请材料 Application Materials

1. 有效期内的护照复印件（护照整本，非空白页复印件）Copy of passport within the validity period (full passport, copy of non-blank page)

2. 全日制高中毕业学历文件（应届毕业生可先提供预计毕业证明），必须为原件或公证件，语言为中文或英文；Full-time high school graduation certificate documents (students who don’t graduate shall provide certificate of pre-graduation issued by the high school that will issue the diploma, the expected graduation time should be indicated), which must be original or notarized, Chinese or English is available;

3. 高中阶段全部课程及成绩单，必须为原件或公证件，语言为中文或英文；Currently or Complete set of high school transcripts (in Chinese or English) must be original or notarized；

4. 语言能力证明；Proof of Language Proficiency;

5. 无犯罪记录证明；Certificate of None Criminal Record;

6. 经济担保（符合当地中国使领馆签证要求的银行存单、或父母在职收入情况证明、银行流水等）；Financial Statement (bank deposit certificates that meet the visa requirements of the Chinese embassies and consulates in the local area, or evidence of parents’ in-service income, bank liquidity, etc.);

7. 外国人体格检查记录；Foreigner physical examination records;

8. 个人陈述；Personal Statement;

9. 个人简历。Resume.

四、奖学金 Scholarship

来晋留学政府奖学金，用于奖励来山西医科大学本科层次教育的优秀外国留学生，奖学金标准为：每学年每人15000元。奖学金逐年竞争申请。The scholarship is a government scholarship for studying abroad in Shanxi, which is used to reward outstanding foreign students who come to Shanxi Medical University for undergraduate education. The scholarship standard is 15000 yuan per person per academic year. Scholarships are applied for through annual competition.

五、申请方式How to apply

1. 申请人登录申请系统： https://smu.at0086.cn/Student，在线注册账户，按照系统要求提交申请材料，正确录入本人护照信息、联络方式和邮寄地址等重要信息。Please log in the application system: https://smu.at0086.cn/Student to register a new account, submit application materials, and correctly enter important information such as my passport information, contact information, and mailing address.

2. 学校根据申请材料、面试成绩等综合评核，择优选拔，确定录取名单，发放录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》。Based on a comprehensive evaluation of application materials, interview scores, and other factors, we will select candidates on a merit basis, determine the admission list, and issue letters of admission and the JW202 form.
